CONDOMINIUM OR APARTMENT OWNERS
You do not have to live in a single-family home in order to receive satellite programming. Virtually any place that has a clear line-of-sight to the satellite can receive the Croatian programming - even apartments and condominiums!
While apartments and condominium residents may be a little more limited than single-family homeowners as to where they can place the satellite dish to receive CroatianTV-Australia programming, installations options are varied, from installing the dish on the porch, patio or balcony within the resident's exclusive use to installing it, in rare cases, inside a window. In some cases, condominium associations may grant permission to a renter or condo owner to install the dish in an area that is not within the resident's exclusive use, such as on the building or in another common area.

While certain satellite dish rules can be applied to apartment and condominium dwellers, landlords, condominium associations and other homeowners associations still have to honor a number of rights obliged homeowners through federal law regarding the installation of satellite dishes. Can local or state governments, homeowner / condominium associations or landlords restrict installation of small satellite dishes / antennas?
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has ruled that state or local laws or regulations, private covenants, homeowners' association rules, condominium or cooperative association restrictions, lease restriction, or similar restrictions are invalid if they impair the right of a home or condo owner or renter to receive satellite programming on one or two satellite dishes one (1) meter (39.37 inches) or less in diameter installed on property within owner or renter's exclusive use or control. For a person living in a multi-dwelling unit, an area such as a balcony, patio or garden not shared with other tenants would be considered property within the individual's exclusive control.
